A three-step process for eligible former Ethiopian Airlines Base Service employees.
ELIGIBILITY
Who Can Join
Any individual who previously worked as an Ethiopian Airlines Base Service employee may become a member. Former Ethiopian Airlines employees who were not Base Service staff may also apply in writing within five years of the bylaws' approval (maximum five persons); admission requires support from 70% of members present at the General Assembly.
THE PROCESS
Three Steps to Permanent Membership
Step ❶
Submit Application
Submit a written application to the Executive Committee.
Step ❷
Complete the $1,500 fee
Once accepted, pay the entrance fee of USD 1,500 within six months, while also paying regular monthly contributions and any special assessments.

Step ❸
Become Benefit-Eligible
You become eligible for Association benefits after continuously fulfilling membership obligations for at least six months.
Your Rights
Receive all benefits and assistance under the bylaws.
Submit suggestions to improve the bylaws.
Submit complaints in writing with appeal to the General Assembly.
Request dues relief if illness prevents work for six months or more.
Withdraw voluntarily at any time (fees previously paid are not refunded).
Your Duties
Attend meetings and pay monthly contributions ($50.00) thru Zelle using the association's email (fbspeal@gmail.com) on time.
Participate meetings (usually begin at 2:00 p.m.).
Support, Visit, & Console fellow members.
Participate in the annual family celebrations.
Serve where the association assigns you.
Submit and update the family information form within two months of change, and
Fully comply with the bylaws.
