Benefit Amounts
$12,000
Death of Member or Spouse
Plus $100 from every member, and labor/materials as directed. If the surviving spouse dies within 6 months: 50% of the prior amount plus $50 per member.
$2,000
Death of Member's Child
Child must be listed on the Family Information Form.
$1,000
Death of A Parent
Member's or spouse's parent; must be listed on the Family Information Form.
$5,000
Death of Member or Spouse
Plus $100 from every member, and labor/materials as directed. If the surviving spouse dies within 6 months: 50% of the prior amount plus $50 per member.

Immigration Issue
If a member is compelled, because of immigration-related or comparable legal circumstances, to live outside the United States or remains under legal restraint for more than three (3) months, the
Association shall provide one-time assistance of five thousand dollars upon
presentation of adequate proof.

How to Request Assistance
Write to the Executive Committee at fbspeal@gmail.com describing the circumstance.
The Secretary prepares the assistance document citing the applicable bylaw provision.
The Accountant verifies good standing and prepares the check; the Chairperson gives final review and co-signs.
The member's receipt of assistance is recorded in the Association's official records.
